GOD is light and in HIM is no darkness at all. JESUS says we are light, and so we are to release our light into the darkness of this world.

Only people in the dark need light.

“But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come.” 2 Timothy 3:1

Some words used to describe “peril” by the Oxford English Dictionary include danger, jeopardy, hazard, insecurity, etc. Paul, therefore, declared by the SPIRIT of GOD that the last days will be characterized by these issues.

Earlier, JESUS described what the last days would look like to HIS disciples in Matthew 24:7.

“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.” Matthew 24:7

Most of these issues are happening in our days.

As people gradually started considering the COVID pandemic a thing of the past, the world got hit by the Russia-Ukraine war. This has triggered a new wave of economic crises across the globe, especially in Europe. As a result of this war, there are speculations or rumors that other nations will rise up against neighboring nations and exacerbate the situation.

The current situation sounds like what Isaiah the prophet referred to when he said:

“For behold, darkness covers the earth, and thick darkness is over the peoples; but the LORD will rise upon you, and His glory will appear over you.” Isaiah 60:2

The LORD has chosen these last days to reveal HIS glory through HIS people as a solution to the darkness looming over the earth.

Paul seemed to explain this process further in Romans 8:18-19 that there will be a glory that will be revealed in the sons of GOD, and for this glory, the entire creation is waiting for the sons of GOD to be revealed.

“For as many as are led by the Spirit of GOD, these are sons of GOD. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, ‘Abba, Father.’” Romans 8:14-15

The sons of GOD carry the nature of GOD and have access to Heaven’s resources that provide solution for earth’s issues. In Genesis 1, GOD created a solution for the chaotic state of a dark, formless and empty earth, using unseen resources to create the worlds (Hebrews 11:3). In the same way, the sons of GOD would need to access the unseen resources to provide solutions for the world as it becomes more and more chaotic.

JESUS, the Light of the world, is the perfect example of how the sons of GOD must operate.

“Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” John 5:19

For the sons of GOD to shine like JESUS through these dark last days, we must:

i. Learn to observe and depend on the FATHER like JESUS did, through consistent praying, much fasting and studying the Word of GOD.

ii. Train to walk by the SPIRIT.

iii. Live by faith.

As these behaviors are consistently practiced and become our lifestyle the sons of GOD are transformed into the Image of JESUS. We will bring healings to nations, reverse famines by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT, and disrupt the dark works of satan. The great light of GOD will shine brightly.

Consequently, people from various nations will come seeking solutions of the sons of GOD as prophesied in Isaiah 60:3.

“The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising.” Isaiah 60:3

Glory to GOD. It’s a great season to be alive!

THE LANGUAGE OF JESUS

“But to us living in these last days, GOD now SPEAKS to us openly in the language of a Son, the appointed Heir of everything, for through him GOD created the panorama of all things and all time.”

The middle of this verse makes a particularly important statement: GOD SPEAKS in the language of a SON. The same way we speak in the English language is the same way GOD speaks in the language of a SON. GOD only speaks JESUS; GOD only speaks in the JESUS language.

Let us take GOD speaking a step further. YAHWEH spoke the world into creation and, remember, no WORD will ever return to HIM void. So, JEHOVAH created the eartht hrough JESUS (using the only language He knows: JESUS) and for JESUS (Colossians 1:16). It is therefore impossible for the WORD (JESUS) to return to GOD void.

The promises GOD made to Abraham were in the language of HIS SON (JESUS), which means they were through JESUS and for JESUS. Every letter, every syllable, is all JESUS. HIS WORDs are complete, nothing is missing. It can NEVER return to HIM void because it is JESUS that comes out of HIS mouth. This, then, makes more sense on JESUS being willing giving up HIMSELF as a sacrifice for us, HIS Bride. HE is JEHOVAH’s spoken Word; the Word is alive, REALLY ALIVE!

“The Son is the dazzling radiance of GOD’s splendor, the exact expression of GOD’s true nature—his mirror image!” Hebrews 1:3a (TPT)

This verse drives home verse two. JESUS is the mirror image of GOD. HE is the FATHER’s spitting image. There is no telling apart here; you and I cannot tell who is the FATHER and who is the SON. Take a look at yourself in the mirror and move ahand; you know what happens to the reflection portrayed. The same thing is going on here.

For GOD so loved the world (mirror image)…for JESUS so loved the world…

that HE gave (mirror image)…that JESUS gave…

JESUS HIMSELF said it: I only do what I see MY FATHER in Heaven doing. It is impossible for HIM to do otherwise. It cannot happen because JESUS is the only language our FATHER, LORD, JEHOVAH, YAHWEH knows how to speak.

Are there any promises in the Word of GOD that you are standing on? Brothers and Sisters, you must come to the place and realization that these Words are real, VERY REAL. This is JESUS on the page, the mirror image of GOD. Every letter and syllable are alive; they are not simply alphabet letters… it is actually the JESUS Language. GOD cannot speak another language. Remind GOD of HIS promises to you. Remind HIM that HE spoke these promises to you in the language of HIS SON.

Glory to GOD in the highest!

WILL YOU PASS THE TEST?

The FATHER is looking for integrity and holiness.

Will HE find it? Will HE find integrity and holiness in the “household of GOD,” in the churches, in the Body of CHRIST? Will HE find integrity and holiness in you and in me?

The FATHER is searching. What will HE find when HE sees you?

It is time to examine yourself.

“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” 2 Corinthians 13:5 (ESV)

The FATHER doesn’t desire what you do or what you have. HE wants you.

“Sacrifice and offering You did not desire; My ears You have opened. Burnt offering and sin offering You did not require. Then I said, ‘Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God, And Your law is within my heart.’” Psalm 40:6-8

Be still before the LORD of the heavens and the earth. Be still before the Alpha and the Omega. Be still before the Fearful One. And examine yourself with fear and trembling.

Test and see if you will pass the test.

For the time is coming when HE will contend with man no longer. The time is coming for HIS judgment to be poured out, the full measure of HIS wrath. And it starts with HIS house, with HIS temple, with HIS people.

The FATHER is grieved that HIS temple has become a mockery. HE is grieved that so-called pastors, priests, and prophets have set up idols unto themselves.

“Then the king [Josiah] ordered Hilkiah the high priest…to get rid of everything in The Temple of God that had been made for worshiping Baal and Asherah and the cosmic powers. He had them burned outside Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron and then disposed of the ashes in Bethel.” 2 Kings 23:4 (MSG)

Even as King Josiah cleared the LORD’s temple of everything used to worship false gods, so the LORD is now cleaning HIS house of everything does not honor or worship HIM. HE has issued a clarion call to those who are making a mockery of HIS Name, “Come clean, before it is too late!”

What are we to do?

  1. Examine yourself. Test yourself to see whether you are in the faith. Be completely honest and transparent. Hold nothing back. Hide nothing.
  2. Repent of everything that is of the flesh and/or of the evil one. Give up your pride and your mockery. Give up your need for power and position and wealth. Give up your thirst for money and fame and notoriety. Give up your desire for entertainment and fancy words and flowery music.
  3. Relinquish yourself to the FATHER. Trust the heart of the FATHER. Dwell in the Presence of the FATHER. Speak the Word of the FATHER. Humble yourself before the FATHER. Enact the will of the FATHER.

For the door is closing quickly and HIS judgment is being poured out. Those who do not repent will be swept away in HIS wrath. Only “he who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, Nor sworn deceitfully…shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation” (Psalm 24:4-5).

Will you pass the test?

AS PERSECUTION INTENSIFIES, DON’T RUN

We celebrated JESUS’ resurrection all over the CHRISTian world in April. But do we also celebrate the crucifixion part that was the necessary ingredient for resurrection? Let’s go deeper. Do we celebrate the place where JESUS died to HIS human will to pickup the FATHER’s will, Gethsemane?

Food for thought.

Prior to Gethsemane, something very interesting occurred. Peter, as well as all the other disciples, pledged to lay down their lives with CHRIST, for CHRIST, in Matthew 26:35. Peter was the most outspoken, but they all said in unison: We won’t abandon YOU, JESUS; we won’t run.

A few hours later, when Judas, the temple guards, and a mob showed up with clubs and spears, their resolve melted away. Matthew 26:56-58 records that allthe disciples forsook HIM and fled. At least Peter followed at a distance. As we approach increased persecution in the Western Church, including:

  • Censorship in the online space
  • Reduction and eventual removal of tax breaks for churches
  • Forced vaccinations and elimination of respect for personal choice that does not line up with a specific agenda
  • Discrimination based on faith / beliefs
  • And whatever else is coming…

…how many of the disciples in church today will run? When it’s no longer comfortable to be a disciple, how many of us will at least follow from a distance?

All the disciples fled. Their best intentions, their well-thought-out plans, did nothing for them in the face of persecution. I wonder what they thought about JESUS when HE told them in Matthew 26:1-2, that HE would be crucified in two days. All the disciples knew about the painful torture of crucifixion. It was their worst nightmare played out. Yet, JESUS expected it, embraced it, talked about it.

Are we afraid to talk about the hard stuff? Are we in the Western Church expecting persecution? How will we respond when it arrives? Will we run, give in, hide?

Eventually, all twelve disciples became witnesses (martyrs).

What changed them from runners into those who expected and embraced the reality of persecution? HOLY SPIRIT and the actions of the disciples.

As persecution gets hotter, let’s follow their lead.

1.   They received the HOLY SPIRIT which gave them the power of GOD to become HIS martyrs. Their devotion to CHRIST was greater than their desire for self-preservation and safety.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses (martyrs) to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

2.   When the disciples received the HOLY SPIRIT, they didn’t just sit there. They acted. They took an example from JESUS’ life. When HE was about to go through the most difficult stage of HIS mission on the earth, HE spent HIS last hours in prayer. Gethsemane prepared JESUS CHRIST for Calvary. Consider spending at least one hour praying in your HOLY SPIRIT language (also called prayer language) everyday. If you don’t have one, ask JESUS to give it to you.

“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” Jude1:20-21

“Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, ‘What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.’” Matthew 26:40-41

3.   Even the SON of GOD has community – fellowship. The LORD is gathering HIS Remnant all over the world, joining us together in small and large prayer groups. Ask the LORD for the one you should join. Join a prayer group. If you are looking for one, WeRemnant has one, and we would love to have you. Shoot us an email if you are interested and use this link to request prayer.

LIVING A LIFE THAT PLEASES GOD

“Brothers, now I have some other things to tell you. We taught you how to live in a way that will please God. And you are living that way. Now we ask you and encourage you in the Lord Jesus to live that way more and more.” 1Thessalonians 4:1 (ICB)

As children of GOD, we need to constantly evaluate our lives. At the end of each day, self-reflect and ask: “Do I live the life that pleases the FATHER?”

Living a life that pleases GOD means living an intentional life. Unfortunately, we often seek to please people we see and forget to please GOD, whom we do not see with our naked eyes.

The Word of GOD is very clear on why it is important to please GOD and what we must do. With the help of the HOLY SPIRIT, we ought to carefully discern what is pleasing to our FATHER (Ephesians 5:10 NLT).

We have the example of the life JESUS lived.

“And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.” John 8:29(NLT)

Highlighting the word “always,” not “sometimes,” makes me guilty and brings me to a place of humble repentance. JESUS did not only speak these words, but HIS FATHER validated HIM. Repentance also pleases GOD.

“He received honor and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’” 2 Peter 1:17 (NIV)

We are fully protected when we please the LORD.

“When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Proverbs 16:7 (NLT)

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” Hebrews 11:16 (NLT)

What is faith? Faith is obedience in action. It is taking that bold step into the unknown but fully knowing that if HE said it, HE will do it, knowing that all HIS promises are “yes and amen.”

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

We receive what we ask when we please the LORD.

“And whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.” 1 John 3:22 (ESV)

Enoch and Cornelius are biblical examples of people apart from JESUS who lived to please GOD. Enoch, mentioned among the heroes of faith in Hebrews 11, walked closely with GOD, and he pleased GOD. He lived a life of faith, and because of his lifestyle, GOD took Enoch to be with HIM.

“And when you draw close to God, God will draw close to you.” James 4:8 (TLB)

The life of Cornelius, described in Acts 10, challenges us as believers and paints the picture of living a life that pleases GOD. We learn how living a life that is pleasing to GOD attracts Heaven, and GOD takes note of his prayers and giving. He became the first Gentile convert to Christianity recorded in the Bible. He also had an encounter with a holy angel. He lived a life that pleased GOD, plus his household too, and they received the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT.

What must I do to please GOD?

Here are some ways to get you started as you allow the HOLY SPIRIT to help you discern what pleases our FATHER. GOD takes note of our efforts, but thankfully, we have the HOLY SPIRIT as our HELPER. Hallelujah!

  1. Fear GOD – Psalm 147:11
  2. Be obedient – Colossians 3:20
  3. Have faith – Hebrews 11:6
  4. Be spiritually minded – Romans 8:8
  5. Do good, the work of GOD – Hebrews 13:16, Colossians 1:10

WHOOSH ME, SPIRIT OF GOD!

“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” Romans 8:1-2 (NLT)

Further digging into Romans 8:1-2 showed that the original Greek of this verse mentions the law of the Spirit. Think, Child of GOD: What is the law of the spirit? The Complete Jewish Bible also mentions the Torah of the Spirit. Digging deeper into a couple more translations reveals the following:

• The Law of the Spirit

• The Torah of the Spirit

• The Power of the Spirit

The Strong’s Dictionary explains more on the word “law.” Please note, “impulse” means the influence of a particular feeling. “Emanate” means to flow out, issue, or proceed, as from a source or origin; come forth; originate.

“Law of the Spirit” means: The impulse to (right) action emanating from the Spirit has freed you from the power of sin. This is saying that the “Law of the spirit” flows out of the Spirit of GOD (notice the big “S” which signifies the Spirit of GOD, who we also call the HOLY SPIRIT) influencing us to action.

“Law of sin” means: The impulse to sin inherent in human nature emanating from the power of death. This means the “Law of sin” flows out of death influencing us to action!

Oh, the authority the Bride of CHRIST has when she decides to abide in the Spirit. Imagine a church operating from the Spirit of GOD, influencing her to action. May we allow the Spirit of GOD to lead us and influence us in all our decisions.

“He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.” Romans 8:4 (NLT)

So, the Spirit fulfils the Law. Fulfils the law.

The Law dictates that a sacrifice is required for the remission of the sin! The Spirit of GOD provided JESUS as a sacrifice for the remission of our sins (Romans 8:3).

The Law dictates that where there is sin, there MUST be death. The Spirit of GOD provided the Cross.

“Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.” Romans 8:5 (NLT)

JESUS is looking for a Bride, looking for a Remnant who can have the following traits:

• Be controlled by the HOLY SPIRIT

• Be controlled by Ruach Hakodesh

• Be controlled by the Breath of GOD

The HOLY SPIRIT is the Breath of GOD, coming from WITHIN. YAHWEH, breathe into us. This is why HOLY SPIRIT and YAHWEH are so in sync. HOLY SPIRIT comes out from deep, deep within I AM!

Imagine a young girl with a dress who is being whooshed around by the wind. I AM is blowing HIS breath on her, causing her to be twirled around. Oh! To be controlled by the Spirit of GOD. Imagine a young boy, jumping and running. Not because he wants to, but because the Breath of GOD controls him, pushing and tugging him along.

Child of GOD, your next step, next move, is not because you decided what it will be. It is because the Breath of GOD, Ruach Hakodesh, led you there.

Recently, I pulled a sweet red pepper out of the refrigerator. I saw its vibrant red color, without blemish. I smelled its sweet aroma. I felt the firmness of its flesh. Then I proceeded to cut the sweet red pepper and place a piece in my mouth to taste it. To my surprise and dismay, my taste buds were assaulted with what can only be described as bitterness. Since I perceived that what appeared to be a very sweet red pepper was actually bitter, I threw it in the trash…sadly it had turned bad.

Child of GOD…what do you taste?

As sons and daughters of GOD, we have both physical and spiritual senses given by HIM as tools to use, including the sense of sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste. The spiritual sense of “taste” has always been an enigma to me, until recently, when the HOLY SPIRIT brought revelation.

Have you ever tasted wisdom? Have you ever tasted injustice? Have you ever tasted the love of GOD? Have you ever tasted deception? Have you ever tasted HIS SPIRIT?

Believer…what do you taste?

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” Psalms‬ ‭34:8‬ ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

The original word for “taste” in this verse also means “perceive.” The spiritual sense of taste is one aspect of our spiritual discernment and perception. Just as we perceive the difference between ice cream and peanut butter, just as we perceive what is spoiled versus what is fresh, just as we perceive good food from bad food with our physical taste buds, so also, we perceive what is good and evil, what is better from what is best, what is of GOD from what is of our flesh or of the enemy, with our spiritual “taste buds.”

Intercessor…what do you taste?

Psalm 34:8a says, “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good…” This is a verse that we get excited about: “Yes! GOD is good! Hallelujah!!!!“ But it actually goes deeper than the excitement. This verse sets the standard so that we know what is “good” when we taste (discern or perceive) matters, spirits, prophecies, miracles, etc.

How did I know that the red pepper was bad and should be thrown away? Because I have tasted fresh sweet red peppers and already had a standard established of what is “good.”

This verse establishes GOD as our standard of what is “good.” The more we dwell in HIS Presence, the more we become accustomed to hearing HIS Voice, the more we read and meditate and chew on HIS Word, then the more easily we discern/perceive what is good…and, alternatively, the more easily we are able to discern/perceive what is bad or evil.

British evangelist Smith Wigglesworth once said, “To discern spirits we must dwell with Him who is holy, and He will give the revelation and unveil the mask of Satanic power on all lines.”

Disciple of CHRIST…what do you taste?

“How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth!” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119:103‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Now, here is where we go deeper. Have you ever experienced a time of abstaining from something in particular…maybe sugar…caffeine…meats, etc.? And after you complete your time and return to eating sugar or drinking caffeine, have you noticed how heightened your senses are to the smallest bit of sugar or the least amount of caffeine? It’s like your body automatically knows what hit it and almost goes into shock!

Our sense of discernment and perception in the SPIRIT must be the same. You see, even our senses must be consecrated, that we may have keen, sharp discernment and perception. We must abstain from and remove falsehood, idols, TV shows, social media addictions, movies, music, etc., that we already know are not “good” (remember, our standard is GOD), because these, my friends, are dulling our spiritual discernment. Once these influences are removed, when something comes our way (a person, a “prophecy,” an unclean spirit, a “miracle,” a decision, etc.) that requires sharp, keen discernment, our spirits will automatically be shocked into knowing (discerning/perceiving) if this is from GOD or not. Otherwise, if we continue to allow these influences in our lives, our sense of “taste” is dulled. And even though that prophecy or that decision may seem unsettling to our spirits, we run the risk of being deceived and passing it off as being “good” or at least okay, even though it is not of GOD.

Wow. Consecration.

My brother, my sister…what do you taste?

Today, will you choose to eliminate the evil influences from your spiritual “diet?” Will you choose to set GOD as your standard of what is “good?” Will you consecrate your senses to HIM?

FATHER, we consecrate ourselves to YOU this day. May our “taste,” our discernment, be so keen that we are able to glorify YOU as we perceive trouble from afar or from close by. We praise YOU, FATHER, for YOUR call to consecration this day. In JESUS’ Name. Amen.

I visited one of our Prayer Team members who had a series of strange recurring dreams over and over between January and early February before the Russia – Ukraine war.

Start of dream.

In the dream, she saw in Russia (or some European country) and bombs were dropping. However, her entire family was under a dome of covering and the bombs did not land on them.

The dream then continued and she saw herself and her family standing in line to get out of the country. They were at the border. Though it was uncomfortable and cold, they were safe.

End of dream.

This sister does not live in Russia, has never visited the country or Ukraine, nor does she have relatives there.  The interpretation of this dream is obvious now. This was a revelation that war was coming, and GOD would save HIS remnant who were in harm’s way.

The question today is: Why did the LORD give her, a stranger to these world events, these recurring dreams?

Another member in our Prayer Team had a vision of secret deals, historical alliances being broken or side-stepped to make room for new ones…even to the point of seeing China and India supporting Russia, shunning the United States.

Yet again, this was shown months before it happened, to people who have no relationship to these nations at all, other than prayer.

Why LORD, why?

“If a trumpet is blown in a city, will not the people be afraid? If there is calamity in a city, will not the Lord have done it? 7 Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Amos 3:6-7

Many try to paint the LORD our GOD as the ONE who is mighty in battle, only for the battles that we approve. Mighty to save…but not mighty to destroy? Mighty to deliver…but not mighty to send into captivity?

The Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) and New Testament is full of examples of the LORD doing things that would not be popular domestic or foreign policy today.

“The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up. The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and lifts up.” 1 Samuel 2:6-7

“Now see that I, even I, am He, and there is no God besides Me; I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal; Nor is there any who can deliver from My hand.” Deuteronomy 32:39

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.” Romans 1:18-19

I challenge everyone to read the HOLY BIBLE and learn of this GOD we say we love, rather than building our lives on what other people have said about HIM.

Theology must be based on GOD HIMSELF and not our imaginations of HIM.

As for the role of the watchman:

The LORD speaks to us in visions, dreams, impressions, and so much more, and tells us what will happen before it happens. It is very biblically normal for those with the watchman call (known or unknown) on their lives to see in the HOLY SPIRIT before things occur.

Isaiah, Daniel, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel saw civil wars, captivity, torment, slavery, and redemption of nations, not just of Israel and Judah. This is the way it has been, the way it is now, and the way it will always be. Just imagine if the watchmen in Ukraine got all the CHRISTians out before the first bomb dropped…or at least warned the people to stock up, build bomb shelters, and prepare for the war.

The role of watchmen in the Body of CHRIST is much needed now. It saves lives. It sounds the alarm such that people can prepare for future events.

Would you ask the LORD today to open your eyes to see and ears to hear what the HOLY SPIRIT is saying and doing, such that you can warn the Body and save your family?

HE will use us if we are willing.

Are you willing?

We are living in crucial times. Times that are evil. We need to be awake, sober-minded, and vigilant.

As a Believer and a son/daughter of the Most High GOD, you are precious. HE has placed in you KINGdom treasures. You have been bought by GOD through HIS SON’s divine Cross and the Blood of JESUS CHRIST. Therefore, brother and sister, you are marked and highly sought after by GOD.

Unfortunately, you have an enemy who also tries to ensnare you of your GOD-given destiny and purpose. He prowls around like a roaring lion, ready to pounce on you on every corner. He uses many tactics—to mention a few: fear, doubt, shame, pride, self-reliance and unforgiveness.

We can easily be entangled when our heart posture is ensnared by any other thing, including excessive worry, anger, idols and even status or wealth.

Thank GOD for HIS unfailing Love that corrects and brings us into continual alignment with HIS Heart and absolute Truth. HE is the one that increases knowledge and wisdom. HE has secured us with HIS divine Comforter and Counselor, the HOLY SPIRIT, so that we have divine weapons, strategies and power to keep us on track.

HIS communion is essential. As JESUS-followers, we have a duty to have relationship with our GOD. HE made us for HIMSELF, that we may be vessels of HIS Image and Power here on earth. As HIS people, we should live intentionally in communion with HIM. This relationship brings about a genuine obedience of love. All the while, HE purges and molds us into CHRIST-like character. HE speaks to us, giving us promises and purpose with some Instructions…for HIS ultimate Destiny and Glory!

Unfortunately, and sadly enough, we often forfeit GOD’s divine plan for our lives. “How is that?” you say.

Well, my fellow brothers and sisters, it’s because of a little something called “doubt” and “unbelief. The journey becomes too hard and too long, and we begin entertaining doubt, allowing the enemy to rob us of our true inheritance! Distractions come and we either sell out or compromise in some way, giving in to fear, which causes paralysis and stagnation.

Another way we forfeit GOD’s plan is by not knowing our identity. We can be blinded and live in bondage to sin, self, and the world. Because we do not know what we should do, we easily give our possessions and giftings away, or we stop seeking and pursuing the deep things of GOD. What a sad situation!

I recently received a TikTok video that portrayed this very concept! A man was walking down the street, when suddenly, someone came up from behind and demanded all of his possessions. The thief told the victim that his friend was holding a gun to his back. What the victim did not know is that the thief had placed a “dummy” with its arm extended, holding a banana, behind the victim (see picture below). The banana was pressing against the victim’s back…so that the victim thought that it was a gun! The thief told the man not to move—as he stole all of his possessions and then quickly left the victim, still standing with his hands raised, with the banana sticking in his back.

A few seconds later, a passerby came along and asked the victim, “What are you doing?” The victim replied, “I’m being robbed!” The passerby then proceeded to tell him, “Turn around; it’s a dummy!”

We are most often fooled by smoke and mirrors! It’s a lie and deception. GOD has given us ALL authority to exercise here in our domain—EARTH!  That’s why it’s so important to walk vigilantly, awake and armed with GOD’s WORD, so that we will not be easily tricked!

DON’T BE ROBBED!  Heed this warning and exhortation!

Here are some practical ways you can be sure not to be ensnared with any kind of deception.

  1. Surrender to the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Confess HIM daily. HE is on the Throne! HE should be your measure, your treasure, and your authority. Yield to the HOLY SPIRIT.
  2. Be in communication with HIM.  Through prayer and reading HIS WORD, you will know HIS written Voice. Build up equity in the prayer closet/altar. Learn HIS Voice. Seek HIM.
  3. Believe HE is who HE says HE is. Therefore, you will know who you are. Obey HIS instructions and operate to honor HIM in all you do. HE is not looking for perfection; HE is looking for genuine affection and devotion from you—in thought and deed. HE sees your heart.
  4. Get into a community in which you can learn, serve, and be accountable. Be under mentors and people more seasoned than you and partake in mentoring others alike.
  5. Practice faith under pressure and persevere above all challenges and circumstances.
  6. Be patient and praise in the “waiting.” Do not complain, and in everything, give thanks!
  7. Use your words to bless and not curse. Be prepared to give an account of the hope that is in you. Testify! You are a sign and a wonder. Be encouraged!

Let’s take a moment to meditate on how great our GOD is. There is none like HIM and no one can compare to HIM. Jeremiah echoed this same thought when he said:

“LORD, there is no one like you! For you are great, and your name is full of power.” Jeremiah 10:6 (NLT)

GOD’s hands are large enough to hold the whole earth. According to NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, the radius of Earth at the equator is 3,963 miles (6,378 kilometers) and the equatorial circumference of Earth is about 24,901 miles (40,075 km). The earth has a mass of 5.9722 x 1024kg., but despite its weight, the ALMIGHT GOD is holding the earth. Mount Everest, despite its status of being the tallest mountain in the world, with its height of 8848.86 meters (about 29,032 feet), it still fits in GOD’s hands.

With all the measurements listed above, Scripture reminds us that HE holds it all in HIS hands. If this mighty GOD is huge enough, strong enough and great enough to do this, then what do we have to be concerned about? When we have HIM on our side, what have we to fear?

The Bible says:

“What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If GOD is for us, who can ever be against us?” Romans 8:31 (NLT)

Let’s think about it. What problem can overwhelm us when the greatness of our GOD captured in our main text is beyond human comprehension?

Given the uncertainties of the world we live in, it is very comforting and reassuring to know that the ALMIGHTY is more than capable. What we need to remember always is that, no matter what we are going through, GOD has it all in the palms of HIS hands and has no problem handling any situation that we may face. Let us continue to spend time focusing on the greatness of GOD by studying HIS WORD and praying without ceasing.

I pray the HOLY SPIRIT HIMSELF will give us a deeper revelation into the greatness of our GOD.

Shalom!
