The KING MAKER Reigns

“The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will.” Proverbs 21:1 (NKJV) As our nation continues to suffer from the constant media coverage, social media arguments and debates about the November 2020 elections, it is important to remember what our GOD says about the rulership and government over the affairs of men, women and children. The Bible clearly tells us it is ELOHIM our ADONAI, who raises up kings and puts them down. The Bible also tells us as GOD’s children, our civic responsibility is to vote. In addition, our spiritual responsibility is to pray for our leaders who are in authority, even if our preferred candidate did not win.
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2

To go further, those of us who are BLOOD-washed and filled with the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD are part of a different Kingdom, the Kingdom of the SON of HIS love. JESUS CHRIST, the SON of GOD, is LORD and RULER of this Kingdom.

Remember, the Good News of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST is not just that GOD purchased us back from the hands of the god of this world, satan. The incredible news is that after all we have done; after all the iniquities of our ancestors, forefathers, grandmothers, aunties and uncles; after all the sins we willingly or unwillingly commit daily, the MOST HIGH GOD cares enough to intervene in government and rulership of mankind.

Isaiah says the government shall be on HIS shoulders. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.” Isaiah 9:6-7JESUS the CHRIST came preaching that the Kingdom of GOD is at hand. When CHRIST died, HE enabled us to enter into that Kingdom while we are still on the earth. For those who have accepted CHRIST, the Kingdom is no longer at hand; it is here, and it is coming. Though this Kingdom is not seen with physical eyes, the results of the Kingdom are seen with physical eyes. Just like results of wind are seen and felt, so also with the SPIRIT of GOD. The results of the Kingdom are seen and felt. Just like GOD is SPIRIT, HIS Kingdom is spirit. The results, effects of HIS Kingdom are seen with physical eyes. These results are: Righteousness:Right living with GOD, where we choose to follow GOD’s laws as stipulated in HIS WORD over man’s law. Peace: The opposite of fear, anxiety, sleepless nights, worry, sorrow, and so much more. Even in the face of unrest, war, unfair treatment, we have internal peace that others cannot understand.Joy: Satisfaction, complete fulfillment.Therefore, anything that comes to steal our righteousness, peace, and joy is contrary to the Kingdom. Naturally, the kingdom we live in now contains the exact opposite. So how does a Kingdom we do not see affect the kingdom we do see? With power. The Kingdom of GOD is demonstrated by its results – by breaking, destroying, and bringing into right alignment the physical kingdom, the kingdom of man, so we can all see its effects.

Here is a simple example. Illnesses such as cancer come to rob us of our peace and joy. Many also lose faith in GOD and therefore move away from righteousness. But the power of GOD brings us into right alignment by healing our bodies, thereby restoring our faith and giving back our peace and joy. This is how the Kingdom of GOD superimposes itself and its power over the kingdom of man: through miracles, signs and wonders. Without these incredible acts of power, we cannot overcome the physical kingdom of man and experience GOD’s Kingdom. GOD’s Kingdom always comes in demonstrations of power.This week, as the election results come in, shake off the joy or disappointment, knowing that we belong to the Kingdom of GOD where JESUS is the KING, and JESUS has never won or lost an election. There is no competition for HIS LORDSHIP.  HE reigns forever.  We want to hear from you.If you have experienced the power of GOD’s Kingdom in your life, share your story.
