Old Fashioned Shut-In or All Night Prayer

October 28, 2020

“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it;
but I found no one.”  Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV)

For most of the month of October, the prayer and intercession arm of WeRemnant, GoBehindtheVeil, has been on a 21-day fast leading up to the Prayer Conference on October 30-31. The conference begins at 11 pm and ends at 6 am (EST). The prayer session will stream live on Facebook and YouTube.

Why skip meals, pray together daily and, to top it all off, pray as a body for seven hours straight?

Its simple: We must go back to the core foundations of Ekklesia, JESUS’ definition of what HIS Body should be doing on the earth. HIS house is a house of prayer for all nations.

JESUS echoed the words of Isaiah 56:7 when HE said “… ‘My house shall be called a house of prayer,’ …”

When Israel sinned against the LORD in the wilderness and HE sent a plague to punish them, Moses knew what to do. He told Aaron to quickly take incense from the altar of GOD and stand between the people and the wrath of GOD. Aaron ran to do what was commanded. By his actions, he saved thousands; however, 14,700 had already died.

“46 So Moses said to Aaron, ‘Take a censer and put fire in it from the altar, put incense on it, and take it quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the Lord. The plague has begun.’ 47 Then Aaron took it as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the assembly; and already the plague had begun among the people. So he put in the incense and made atonement for the people. 48 And he stood between the dead and the living; so the plague was stopped. 49 Now those who died in the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, besides those who died in the Korah incident. 50 So Aaron returned to Moses at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, for the plague had stopped.”
Numbers 16:46-50 (NKJV)

Revelation 5:8 tells us what our censers are today in this generation – they are the prayers of the saints. Our prayers.

“Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.”
Revelation 5:8 (NKJV)

In this hour of world shakings and national uncertainty, it is not the time to keep silent. It is time to pray.

Join us October 30-31 from 11pm–6am (EST) as we stand in the gap for our world, nation, communities and families, as JESUS commanded us to do.

Hope to see you then.
